Description
Why yes, I am doing what everyone else is doing. >u>
Anyway, here goes~
January - An actual attempt to do a somewhat decent traditional piece after a long time of 'cartooning' my things.
February - Tried using MS Paint more, since I had caught interest in its simplicity. ( plus, I was kinda bored with Open Canvas ) One of the more time consuming ones at that time.
March - Went back to using Open Canvas, and it's actually my first attempt at Gradient Shading.
April - I guess you could say, it was my month of experimentation. I drew some different things other than wolves. Or at least tried to for a little while. Tried to nail a bird's anatomy, but failed at that.
May - When I really went out of my comfort zones in traditional coloring, my drawing style, and some anatomy stuff with humans.... I thought it was pretty good for not really ever drawing one. ( chibis not counting )
June - Nothing much to say about this one. Just trying to develop my own shading techniques traditionally.
July - My Best MS Paint picture ever.... Where I put everything I had learned and slapped it all in one drawing. This is still one of my favorite drawings... even more so than some of my Photoshop ones.
August - Photoshop had just about completely taken over by now. And I was really starting to play around with effects and a lot of different styles.
September - Where I tried putting my traditional style in digital art. ( yes, my traditional stuff has more of a realism hint than cartoony. Unlike my digital, which is vise versa )
October - My favorite drawing.. and my best traditionally colored picture as of now. ( the scanner and photo doesn't do it justice at all )
November - Worked on Gradient Shading and glow a little more. Trying to give more anatomy to my chibis.
December - And now, I'm trying to expand once more. And tried concreting my style of humans. Trying out different backgrounds, other than just grass and sky.. different coloring, and just a teeny bit more details.
lol, it's interesting looking back at your art and seeing how much you grow. o.o
